13Campaign for Access to Education for IDPs and Vulnerable Communities.his project was designed to provide displaced communities with access to education and to create an environment conducive to learning, such as classrooms and study materials, in partnership with local communities and districts.More than 5,000 people who lived in the Mogadishu surrounding areas were affected conflicts and climate crisis don't get access to basic amenities like education. 14Empowering the Future: Forum on Youth, Peace, and Security Organized by the MAAN-DHIS Organization and UNDP SomaliaThe overall goal of the project is to address the challenges of youth participation in peacebuilding and the lack of civic education among young people in Somalia, with a specific focus on students. The project aims to empower youth by providing them with a platform for youth, peace, and security, In support from UNDP Somalia.150 youth from universities attended a workshop given by the MAANDHISTalks training center.-Mogadishu
153rd Annual Somali Entrepreneurship Summit.-MAAN-DHIS hosted an annual Somali Entrepreneurship Summit 2023, in alliance with the government of Somalia, and support from BECO and Dahabshiil Somalia. Thematic year: Promoting Dialogue To increase Partnerships for Somalia’s Economic Resilience. This Initiative tends to portray Somali Entrepreneurship’s untapped vision. Following are the main program outputs: Innovation for technology, fishing, Energy, SMEs, and agriculture. -400 participants from the private sector, government officials, UN agencies, and young entrepreneurs.-Mogadishu
16Project: Promoting the Inclusion of Youth, Women, and Persons with Disabilities in Peacebuilding Efforts in SomaliaBuilding an inclusive society requires first empowering people with disabilities and safeguarding their equality and fairness. Through a holistic approach that prioritizes capacity building, policy advocacy, awareness, and increased access to healthcare, employment, and education, this project seeks to solve the issues faced by people with disabilities. By putting these concepts into practice and encouraging cooperation between the government, United Nations agencies, and local communities, among other stakeholders300 participants from local communities who were led by women, youth, and people with disabilities.-Mogadishu- Baydhabo
17Empowering youth to actively participate in climate governance, ensuring that their voices are heard and their opinions are valued in decisionmaking processes. 184th Annual Somali Entrepreneurship SummiyThe 4th Annual Somali Entrepreneurship Summit 2024, convened by the MAN-HIS Youth Organization with the support of IOM Somalia, Save the Children Somalia, and Salaam Somali Bank. This year 2024 marked a pivotal moment for fostering entrepreneurship and economic resilience in Somalia, with 300 participants representing a diverse range of stakeholders. The summit successfully facilitated over fivepanel discussions and three workshops that generated around actionable insights, leading to the formation of at least 10 new partnerships and investment commitments to support SME development, sustainable livelihood programs, and youth initiatives. Additionally, the summit focused on empowering youth and women, with 200 participants receiving training aimed at launching small businesses, potentially leading to the creation of 1,000 jobs over the next two years. 400 participants from Sweden Embassy, Italian Embassy, the private sector, government officials, UN agencies, and young entrepreneurs-Mogadish
